Go Forth – SUP Fit/ Adventure

A decade ago Stand-up Paddle boarding (SUP) was unheard of in the UK. Few Brits had heard of SUP, let alone given it a go, today ‘SUPing’ is the UK’s fastest growing watersports. The exercise benefits of SUP are simply amazing, it’s one of the best full body, low impact cardio workouts you can do. From core to glutes, arms and chest, they are all involved in your balance and drive in SUP. Once you graduate past basic balancing and you’ll be keen to get exploring. Join us for tour in company and tick off some awesome outings from our waterside location.

  • PADDLE,PUB,PADDLE cruises , you got it paddle to the pub and back (this is a special event paddle and will be organised week by week basis so not on the list) we will post on our facebook page.
  • TRAIN 2 GAIN, exercise training classes which will get that heart pumping
  • SUP SAFARI, checking out the local scenery and wildlife from the river ways
  • SUNSET PADDLES, a perfect way to relax and take things slow

Below are our different options in a bit more detail – once you have decided which adventure you would like to go on, check out our form on the bottom of the page for the timetable and availability – we recommend booking 24 hours before the event on the form as some classes need a minimum amount of people to run.

Train 2 Gain

All levels of paddlers and board shapes welcome. If you would like to improve your fitness levels, burn calories, improve your paddling skills, want to paddle with others, gain confidence, get motivated…this is for you

In a maximum group of 10 our qualified instructor will talk you through the course and give a briefing on all risks/how hard to push yourself and all exit points.

A safe route will be set, all depending on the weather conditions, a couple of options we do are –

  1. Paddle between 3-6km at a medium pace level building your engine and paddling confidence.
  2. We will set up a course using buoys and will do interval sessions, making your heart rate fluctuate which is a great full body workout and will get your body pipes working hard.

Expect to be pushed and encouraged, you will be out of breathe and sweating. If breaks are needed that is ok as on our routes we have lots of exit/rest areas.

You can hire a board or use your own as long as you can paddle it with ease.

Sunset Paddle

Winding down for the evening our sunset paddles are the perfect way to unwind/relax/and see a sunset from another angle.

Staying on the Forth we will paddle 30 minutes before, and enjoy a nice hot drink on our boards while the sun sets.
